The Child and Youth Mental Health Program participated in the Summit on Children and Youth Mental Health, which took place in April 2014. Clinicians from our Inpatient Service (Dr. Jennifer McTaggart, Dr. Caroline McIsaac, Zeb Demaiter) presented Community Collaborations: The Road Under Construction, which illustrated the partnership formed between the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, McMaster Children’s Hospital, and the Mental Health and Addiction Nurses (CCAC).
Psychiatrists, Dr. Teresa Bennett and Dr. Bode Akintan, contributed to the 4th Pediatric Neuro-Developmental and Behavioural Conference developed for professionals with an interest in child development.
